Tertia is a fun loving and caring physiotherapist. She is a keen athlete and has competed in marathons and swimming events.

Tertia graduated with a B.Sc. Physiotherapy Degree from the University of the Orange Free State in South Africa. She started her career as a physiotherapist at a Durban hospital, then moved to private practice and a rehabilitation. Tertia owned her own private practice in Durban for eight years with a focus on spinal and sport related injuries.

Tertia completed a one year post graduate Orthopaedic and Manual Therapy course and through this developed a keen interest in the treatment and rehabilitation of neck, back and pelvis injuries.

In 2002 Tertia and her husband emigrated to Australia and she joined the  Aspley Physiotherapy team. She continued to develop her skills by attending courses related to the treatment and rehabilitation of sport, spinal and pelvis injuries; and has also studied advanced dry needling.

Tertia has done extensive training in Women’s health and can assist with all pelvic floor and continence issues.

Tertia loves pets and enjoys swimming, the great outdoors and maintaining her general fitness. Her hobbies are sewing, reading and she loves her kitchen.
