Aspley Physiotherapy Covid-19 Coronavirus Management Plan

If you are well, please feel welcome to come to your appointment in the clinic, knowing that we are taking best practice measures to keep you safe and well.

We realise this is a challenging time and we wish to assure our valued clients that we are taking all steps to ensure your health and safety while visiting our clinic. We are taking serious measures to help minimize the spread and appreciate your understanding and cooperation while we all work together to do so. We are monitoring the situation and government advice very closely and continuing to practice under the advisement of our professional body. This situation is changing rapidly and we will continue to keep everyone informed via emails and updates on our facebook page and website, so please keep checking back.

INFECTION CONTROL MEASURES

You will notice that we have increased infection control around the clinic as we follow best practice measures to minimize the chances of transmission in our clinic. We ask that you all please use the hand sanitizer provided to clean your hands on entry to and exit of the clinic. You may notice a stronger smell of disinfectant as staff will be regularly cleaning all surfaces in the clinic. We are also reducing the traffic in our waiting room and ensuring there is adequate space around those who are waiting for appointments.

CLASSES

Our classes are now back on!!

We have an exciting new (much larger) space right across the hall from the clinic, so we can adhere to strict social distancing requirements of 1.5m between all participants.

Our timetable will be exactly the same as prior to our classes stopping.

Online Classes

During our face to face class downtime we have filmed 11 classes which will still be available for purchase on a USB. Please contact reception if you are interested in these classes.

However, if you do have cold or flu symptoms, if you have been overseas and are within your quarantine period, or if you have had contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19, we ask that you do not attend the clinic and contact us by phone so that we can discuss alternative options for your treatment. We will exercise the right to refuse treatment if you do attend and meet any of these criteria.

We have for those who are unable to attend the clinic in person:

VIDEO CALL PHYSIOTHERAPY CONSULTATIONS

If you require physiotherapy and you are not able to come into the clinic, please ask us about our one-on-one video call consultations that we are offering. Please see more information here.

Your consultation will include a thorough assessment, advice, exercises and treatment plan to manage your injury independently at home.

Private health rebates for Telehealth are now available so please check with your health fund as to your coverage.

Medicare rebates may apply if you have an Enhanced Primary Care plan.

We recognise the impact of reduced social interactions on our mental and physical health, so if you are able to we encourage you to to attend the clinic. If not, we would like to wish you a speedy recovery and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

We would like to thank you all for your ongoing support in this difficult and unique situation. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions or concerns.

Kind regards,

The team at Aspley Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic
